Slr or digital camera?

I don't want to become or major in photography or anything but i really enjoy playing with cameras and taking pictures as a hobby; should i get the nikon p100 or a canon rebel? There a price difference of about 100 dollars i think

None of them… I mean… Slr is a bit old it will be hard for you to get the right films, and is more expensive… Now a simple digital camera is not good for being in the way of pro…
why don't you try with a dslr… Digital slr… And if you want a cheaper but better camera… You should try with the Nikon D3000

The d3100 is pretty good.

Film is better than digital in the long run.
