If you need the money, then sure, why not! You can get a lot of money off of that.
Well, you may have found it useful less often than someone's gushing suggested you would. It is a very good lens that can be useful sometimes, and you usually take a loss selling stuff.
This lens is the most popular medium telephoto lens (when used on a cropped sensor camera) and use pretty much exclusively for shooting portraits.
Whether you sell ANY lens is going to be determined by how much you use it and if it is one of the few lenses that can do what you need be done.
If you don't use it, then yeah. Just because it's a cheap $135 lens, doesn't necessarily mean you should sell it.
Plus, no one here knows you or knows what your skill set is or knows anything about what you like to photograph. So it's not possible to get anything but guesses.
If you want to know how the 50mm f/1.8G stacks up against other lenses, go here: http://www.photozone.de/...e/nikon_ff Compare it to other 50mm lens and decide for yourself if the additional optical performance is worth the additional costs.
If you never use it and you are desperate for £80 then go ahead.
If you don't need it or want it, sure.
