Nikon 2000? Nikon makes NO 2000.

Are you talking about the D200. If so they are NOT new (six years old) and are worth about $500. Add the lens (new $370) for about 40-60% of that.

Maybe you missed the key on your number pad and are referring to the Nikon D5000. They are selling new for $629. Maybe you can get 80% of that. You don't say the condition of the lens, or whether it is a D ($225) or a G ($420), but figure about half the new price. I'd check Amazon, eBay and Craigslist to see what they're going for.

I'm guessing you had a typo error.

At any rate, you can search the completed listings on eBay to see what they sold for - not what the auction asking prices are.

And separate the lens from the body, at least when you search the listings.

And consider separating them for purchase. The lens probably has more value than a D200, D3000, or even a D5000.

I disagree with the above 40-60% estimate on the lens. Especially if it is a G lens. If the lens is in pristine shape, pro-level lenses can bring up to 90% of their original value. Banged-up pro lenses and Consumer-grade lenses are closer to 50%.
