Serious Photographers Only- FujiFilm vs Nikon?

I'm a serious photographer, and am looking for feedback on what camera type other photographers like best and why. If you have a different camera type leave its name and a picture and reason why.

Nikon has a history of lenses and cameras. Fuji's reputation is the film itself. In the electronic world, the film is nothing and it is all lens and camera. Nikon has more experience than Fuji. My next choices would be Canon and Mamiya if it is still around. Hasselblad and Rollei are right in there if you can afford the Rolls Royce.

Fuji is best know, in digital cameras, for bridge devices. They make good equipment (I own two
by Fuji and have excellent results with them) but between these two I'd pick Nikon.

I'd also look into the Canon line. I also own Canon and recommend them.

If you are a serious photographer you should already know that fuji doesn't even produce any dslr's anymore.
if you are looking at bridge cameras-which fuji does produce-they aren't going to carry you into professional work. And nikon also produces the top of the line bridge-the p500.
If you are really serious about photography you will want a dslr and a good one.

Serious? These two are only brands. I'm sure you're not even close to considering a dSLR. Fujifilm hasn't made one in years.

Me? I use Pentax dSLRs, K200d, K-x and *ist DS.
