Recording video directly to laptop with Nikon D3300?

Guest
Just a quick question, is it possible to connect a Nikon D3300 to my laptop and use a recording application to just record video directly to my laptop using the DSLR as the camera? Or is this not possible?

Yes, you can record video from your Nikon D3300 to your laptop. It is done like you use liveview now. This guy explains it better than I can.
