Nikon View NX2 installation taking a long time?

It still says "installing" but it's been about an hour. Is this normal for photo editing programs? It's the first I've installed.

It didn't take anywhere near that long for me, more like 10 minutes or so max.

Your computer is lacking, from what I gather
Else it has conflict issues
