How long does a Nikon D5100 battery take to charge (first time)?
I just got the D5100 and I can't wait to use it. It's been charging for about 30 minutes. How long should it take to charge?
You can see it from the handbook but i would recommend charge it up to 8 hrs at least, so basically you can go to sleep then when you wake up you can then play about
Just wait until the light on the charger turns off. Duh…
I had a Nikon D3100 up until about a week ago, and it took about 2 hours to charge when it was totally dead. But your battery does come from Nikon slightly charged, so maybe shorter!
Have fun with your new toy!
