Nikon film slr cameras?
I use a dslr but also want an old slr just for the fun of it (Preferably Nikon). I'm 16 years old so I don't know much about film so what slr should I get? I can probably find a used one for cheap. Any prime lens or short zoom lens will be fine but are there any ones that are 18-105mm or something like that? Or even something wider than 18mm or a fisheye because I shoot skateboarding. Does Walgreens develop film and scan it in the best quality? How much does it cost to develop a film roll? I want to see what the pictures look like, if you have links to your photos that you shot with an slr you can show me.
Added (1). I mean Preferably Nikon and Canon.
Actually one of the best if you can find one is the Nikon F4.It is a transitional camera so can use both manual and AF, AF-I and AF-S lenses
Unfortunately, lenses like the 18-105 mm lens are DX lenses, so will give you vignetting if you use it on a 35 mm camera.
My favorite lens when shooting skate boarding is the Nikkor 20 mm, close to what a 12 mm lens would give you on a cropped dSLR camera, super wide. Here is a sample of what a 12 mm lens can do on a cropped sensored camera.

Walgreen's does develop C-41 colour film and can certainly produce CD's of your images.
What it costs, you will have to discover by visiting Walgreen's
It has been a while since I scanned any images from prints or negatives and none of them are posted.
Look for a Canon AE-1 or Nikon F1 (an F5 would be nice, but is around $500).
The last I heard Walgreens/Walmart/CVS/etcetera scan negatives onto CDs at low/medium resolution. If you want high-res quality images, it would be best to use the photo lab in the local camera shops.
Remember, normally you get what you pay for… And that includes film processing. You can have the "I just transferred from cosmetics last week" person put your rolls of film into a machine that probably has not been calibrated since the last time it broke OR you can have your film processed by someone that actually has an understanding of what they are doing.

Craigslist is usually a great spot to locate the good bargain on just about anything, and even to locate that hard to find thing. If you have had no luck utilizing craigslist then you should try amazon, it really is an alternative good reference.
