Can i use my Nikon D3300 battery after only charging for 30 minutes?
It's not the first time charging it. I just need to take a few pictures.
The EN-EL14a is a lithium ion battery which is supposed to have no ill effects if you do not charge it completely or run it down to nearly dead before recharging. At least that's what I read somewhere on the net. I'm an old school guy who runs down a battery and charges it fully each time. You should be fine though.
No problem. New battery technology is not as restrictive as in the past.
That should not be a problem, however, in the future, you need to charge the battery the night before you plan on using the camera.
You also need to make sure that you do NOT let the battery sit fully discharged for over a day or two. This condition will certainly damage the battery
What does your battery indicator say?
If you charge for 30 minutes, you should be able to take a handful of shots without problem.
Yes.
The next time you charge it, it won't reach maximum anymore.
Yes, you should be able to take a few (emphasis few) photos with a partially charged battery. Immediately after taking the photos, I would put the battery on the charger for the normal amount of time.
BTW, that battery has no "memory" so it should fully charge after this.
Depend I think
Yes.
