Nikon 1 V1 For Video?

I'm looking into getting a decent 1080p Video Camera. The Nikon 1 V1 seems like a good choice being 1080p and cheaper then others I have seen. I'm looking to be able to film 20-40 minutes without having to worry about overheating. I'm also favoring it over something like a Cannon 5D just because of the size and the ability to take it anywhere without any trouble. Would a Nikon V1 work for this?

If you want to do video as a priority, get a camcorder. The Nikon 1 V1 is a great camera for it's purpose which is to be a small discreet camera, primarily for stills, with DSLR-like quality and interchangeable lenses. Using it primarily as a video camera is like using a Toyota Prius to haul your cattle to the sale barn.
