Which camera model?

If you have a dSLR, all you have to do is increase the shutter speed to at least 1/250th second, higher if you are using a long lens. To do this, you will sometimes have to increase the ISO of the sensor to allow higher shutter speeds in lower lighting conditions

If you are shooting with a P&S camera, you will have to play with the mode settings in order to fool the camera into shooting at higher shutter speeds. Increasing the ISO will help as well
