My first Digital Camera Nikon DSLR-D70 6.1 MP
Need help please. Any 35mm Film Camera has a pc Sync connection I find no place on this Nikon for a Sync connection for Photo Strobe or is there some accessory I need to Buy?

Added (1). Or am I to use Hot Lighting only?

Added (2). So if I cancel the pop-up Flash will the Hot shoe sync still work?

Only high-end dSLRs have that option. For your camera, you will need a flash hotshoe adapter with that PC-sync port.

No PC socket on most DSLR bodies these days, unless you spend a lot more money.

The Nikon AS-10 and about a thousand clones thereof will add a PC socket to your hot shoe. Some of the clone models also allow you to use your hot shoe flash as well, but not the Nikon model.

Yes, if you close the pop-up flash, the hot shoe will work.

As the others said, a PC hot shoe adapter can be used, but that is doing it the hard way. Get away from the cord altogether and use a wireless setup. The sender mounts in the hot shoe and the receiver mounts with your light. No more tripping or ripping out a damn cord or lack of firing with the notoriously poor PC connections.
