Looking for a camera with good optical zoom and good picture clarity?

I'm looking for a camera with good optical zoom and good picture clarity within Rs.15000… What is the least price of the Nikon digital cameras? Any suggestions would be helpful… Is there good customer support cos I've heard that they're real value for money?

Got a D7000 for a friend recently, shot a few hundred frames for testing - really nice small camera, definitely worthy D90 replacement. After some consideration, the walk around lens of the choice became Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 OS. Reason - faster by 1 stop, smoother Booker, "almost macro" and costs 300 eur: P Plus a 50mm 1.8 to accompany it. For nikon d7000 price you visit at best hear to rate monitor site
