What adaptor should I use for putting a Nikkor 70-300 f4.5-5.6 on a Sony A65?

I'll be purchasing a Nikkor 70-300 f4.5-5.6 for my Sony A65 and I'll need an adapter. Which adapter should I get?

Why? An adapter will cause you so much trouble it is NOT worth it. Get the Sony version.

A Nikon body.

There are half a dozen identical or better lenses with the same focal range available for your Sony A65, all of which will fit straight on the camera and offer full compatibility. If you search the reviews you'll find many of them get better results than the standard Nikkor lens you are looking at.

*If you are intending to use this lens for sports photography the lack of auto-focus when used with an Nikon to Sony Adapter will render the lens almost unusable!
