Buying a Nikon FM10. Will it work with my DX lenses?
Will a Nikon FM10 (film) be able to mount my AF-S DX NIKKOR lenses? It says on the website that it will work. I'm wondering if anyone has personal experiences with using a DX on this film camera.

Will the Nikon F100 be compatible with the lens, Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.4?
I'm looking to buy the Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 for my Nikon F100, however I do not know if they are compatible. The listing says it has a mount of Nikon F, which I'm not sure the meaning of… If you could clarify as to what a mount of Nikon F is (is it referring to the models?) and whether or not I'm good to buy the lens.
Thank you!
Added (1). Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AIS.

What is the difference between the nikon nikkor 50mm f1.8D and the f1.8G?
Don't know witch one to get the f1.8D and the f1.8G

Nikon 10-24 f/3.5-4.5 - how good is its quality?
So for awhile now, I've been debating on whether I should buy the Nikkor 10-24 mm f/3.5-4.5 DX lens, or the Tokina 11-16 mm f/2.8 lens, and I decided that I'd want the zoom feature of the nikkor more than that of the Tokina.
BUT: I've heard Tokina is really high quality.
---
So, quality is now the deciding factor: How good is the quality of the Nikon 10-24? Is it completely crisp? Do the edges blur out? And if so, is it noticeable? How well do the colors come out? Are they generally nice, bright and distinct colors? Or not? How does its quality compare to that of other lenses, and specifically the Tokina, if you know about it?
Oh and minor last thought: Being at 3.5 (or 4.5) aperture for the Nikkor, how fast can the shutter speed be at ISO 100-200 in a: bright day, in a well-lit room, in a somewhat-lit room, at midday, at evening light. Just very generalized ones, I just want an idea to think of how I'm missing out with the higher f-stop.

Good zoom lens for taking baby pictures?
I'm looking for a lens for my Sony Nex 5. I'll be buying the adapter piece that allows me use other 3rd party lenses. I'm looking for a good telephoto zoom lens, in the 55-200 or 70-300 range, not sure which is best. I mainly take pictures of my 10 month old son. I've looked at different brands from Nikon to Canon and Tamron to Sigma, but have no clue what to get! I want something that's pretty quick to focus as a 10 month old moves a lot and rather quickly, I don't want to miss a shot! I also want good zoom. I'm looking to spend under $200.
Added (1). Not sure if it autofocuses.
I should add that I'm really just starting in photography and am not looking for something that fancy. I just want to be able to take pictures with good zoom. We're going on vacation back home and I want to be able to take pictures from the beach of my husband and son playing in the ocean.
Also, I did some more googling and noticed that VR and IS, the vibration reduction options of Canon and Nikon are not that useful. Is this true? I don't want to spend more money for those options if I never use them. I thought they would help with the objects that move fast, but from what I understand it's only if you shake.

What type of lenses does a slr lens adapter work on?
I'm getting a 7D soon but I have two Nikon lenses, and they are both automatic and I would like to use them on my new 7D if possible. 1) Is this at all possible, 2) If so.how?
My Nikon lenses are a Tamron 70 - 300mm and a Nikon 18 - 105mm, so can a lens adaptor be used to place them onto my 7D canon slr?
Thanks
Added (1). I know you can get adapters.

How much is my Nikon F Photomic worth?
I have a NIkon F Photomic. Serial number indicates it was made November 1971 - August 1972. Includes original manual and 50mm Lens. Also includes Nikon Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 lens, good condition. With case and lens cap. Originally purchased with the camera. This was a hand me down from a family member, and I rarely use it, I hate to part with it, but I need the money desperately. How much do you think it is worth?
Added (1). I forgot to mention, the camera and lenses are in very good condition.
Also, do you think it would be worth it to take it to a pawn shop? Or do pawn shops even accept older cameras like this one?

My DSLR is an Olympus E-600, and I'm interested in purchasing a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8. Since I'm new to photography and choosing lenses I need help finding the right adapter!

I'm sorry, but I'm new to Photography and would like to know if this lens is image stabilized. Thanks so much. I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to help out.
