Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4 or the Nikkor 50mm 1:4?

55-200.

Out of these, neither - a 18-200mm, 18-105mm or 18-55mm lens, in that order of preference.

50mm at the widest end is just way too long, you won't be able to take nice landscape shots with it. Unless it's a safari that you have in mind where you absolutely need a telephoto lens, i'd skip both lenses.
If i had to choose only one of these two lenses, i'd get the 50mm prime for its low light capability. I'd alo bring it with me if i had the 18-200mm one to supplement it. It's really not that bulky.

Depends on where you'r going…

55-200mm is good for

1) Long range shots of birds & insects
2) Candid street shots

50mm is good for

1) Night shots
2) non candid street shots

without a wideangle, you are missing

1) Landscape/scenery shots
2) group/family shots

Suggestion

1) if you are going to a place with a nice nightlife, take the 50mm 1.4
2) if you'r goin to a quiet scerene place, take the 55-200mm

Take the zoom lens. It will give you much more flexibility in order to catch the shots you want. Sometimes you need the wide angle 55mm feature and other times you really need the telephoto function of the 200mm or some setting in between.

It can also save you the trouble of repositioning yourself for a good composition instead of shuffling forward or back to get the shot, you can just twist the ring to zoom in and out in a second.

Tamron 18-270mm would be the best to use…

Probably the 50mm f1.4.It's not ideal as it's a little too long, but the 55-200mm zoom is far too slow.

If it was me, I'd choose the 35mm f1.8.

55-200 seems too long for me. Is it a full frame sensor?

I would take a 18-55, if i could take only one lens.
