Nikon af-s nikkor 50mm f/1.8g or AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G?

Price isn't really the problem here, more of the quality and usage factor.

Depends on what you are going to use it for. 50mm will allow you to fit more in. 85 mm is more for closer up. They are both good for low light because they are "fast". 50mm will be lighter, and more versatile IMO

Trey is correct about the tightness of these two lenses. Portraits the 50.

I just bought the 85 which I believe is more pricey. SHARP. The bokeh is Brilliant.really close and professional lens.
