Rokinon is a very economy lens, so is not nearly as robust as the Nikkor lens.

I have an old Nikkor 105 mm f/2.5 lens that was made in the early 1970's and it still works flawlessly. I had to have it converted to a AI lens, but that cost me only $25.

The best third party lenses available for Nikon Cameras is those made by Tokina, followed by Sigma and Tamron. The other third party lenses do not have the build quality and can't be expected to perform well over the next decade.

The two-thirds stop gain of a f/1.4 lens is not significant enough to go cheap, $350 vs. $500. The extra $150 is certainly worth the expense
