Can I mount a Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II on a Canon 5d Mark ii?
With an adapter of course.
Didn't you just answer your own question?
It wouldn't be worth the hassle and expense.
A used 28-80mm in EF fit would do the same job with full functionality, and would probably cost only a little more than the adapter.
Yes I think.
This lens will definitely work with the 5d mark ii.

Other than the hassle of using an adapted lens (no auto focus and manual metering), the Nikon DX lenses, while they work fine on any Nikon full frame camera like the Nikon D600, D700 and D800 and the camera will automatically crop the frame, one used a Canon full frame camera like the 5D and 6D, you will get a circle image on the full frame camera… It is called vignetting. You will have to crop each photo to the APS-C size image
