Is this canon point and shoot camera pretty good?

I'm looking at a new canon camera that is coming out. Would you recommend this?

Actually, yes it sounds fine and has a wider angle lens than most of the small P&S cameras. My last Canon P&S, the S400 lasted 7 years before the sensor died and took thousands and thousands of photos. Small enough to not be a problem taking anywhere… Did what it said on the tin and more too.
The best of the small sensor cameras is either the Olympus XZ1 or Panasonic LX5 but you pay a premium for them.
