Is the nikon v1 good if i'm looking for a fast shot camera that can fit in my pocket and a good sensor

I will admit I'm NO expert on this Nikon camera system at all.

However, I just compared the sensor size of this camera (13.2mm x 8.8mm= 116.34 sqmm ) to my Canon 5D Mk II (36 × 24 mm CMOS = 864 sqmm) and that showed me that my sensor is 7.5 times bigger!

Again, I'm no expert but that type of camera strikes ME as a wannabe DSLR, when really it is more like a bridge camera.

Most likely better than a little P&S, but I'm not sure I would want to bother with it. At this stage, it would take a bit of convincing before I'd change my mind.
