I have a 18-105 mm F/3.5-5.6G on my Nikon D5200. Mostly my photography involves in streets and night pics. I have read mixed reviews online. So can anyone tell me, Nikon 35mm f/1.8G how much sharp than the Nikon 18-105 mm F/3.5-5.6G in night or low light conditions.

The 35mm f1.8 AF-S DX is reputed to be a sharp lens. I don't know if it will be an enormous difference. It has no image stabilization. Don't expect f1.8 to substitute for a good tripod if you want sharp images in dim light.
