Is the Canon SX 260 worth it?

I'm looking into buying a new camera and am debating on the Canon SX 260 and the Nikon 1 J1. I'm more drawn to the Canon for its price and features, but is it really worth it? Is there a better camera out there similar to these cameras?

Get 1 j1, you can change lenses… So defenitely if you compare those 2 cameras, the nikon j1 i DEFENITELY better and with it u also get a larger sensor
