Inexpensive DSLR camera?
I have gotten an interest in photography lately and I wanted to buy a more professional camera than my compact digital camera. I have checked products like Nikon and Canon and they seem to be very expensive. Is there any DSLR single lens camera that is between $530 - $600? Links to these products would be great. I appreciate your help.
Canon t2i and nikon d3100
Nikon D3100, D3000, Canon T3, and T2i are all available in that range if you know where to shop. There's a shopping guide here: http://learningcameras.com/shopping-guide for DSLRs and you can always pick up a refurbished model for much cheaper:
Canon: http://shop.usa.canon.com/...1_-1_29252
Nikon d3000 $499.99 on bestbuy. You can also check out amazon.com, they lots of DSLR to choose from, free shipping, no sales tax, hassle-free returns!
I personally stay away from Canon and Nikon because I feel like I'm stepping in other people's *** (poo-poo) when talking about them. Sony, Olympus, Pentax, Panasonic, Sigma, and others make great DSLR cameras with budget models starting at $350. If you don't plan on syncing 12 strobes to a 800mm lens with macro bellows then any brand will do just fine by you. A body a a few lenses are all most people need.
Nikon D3100 and Canon EOS T3 are both below or around $600 and perform brilliantly. You also have a Pentax K-r for similar price with much better performance, but it's just a slightly less popular brand.
Image quality is the same on all.
