How much is important the fashion on the used market SLR(not quality, only trend)?

I read so much opinion like "better Canon" or "better Nikon"?

For who, like me, search thing in the used market it makes sense evaluate the market pandered by fashion?
I analized, not in tecnic way, what people BELIVED bought?

I simply bought the best camera I could afford - a Pentax.

It's not so much fasion as brand loyalty and tribalism. Both brands have their advantages and disadvantages - and there are other brands to boot! One reason there's so little in it, is that all the major brands have cross licensing agreements with each other.
