How much is a used Nikon D50 (body only) in mint condition worth today?
$200 tops if in good condition
A lot less than I gave for mine, new! Digital camera bodies are pretty much disposable, KEH has a LN- d50 listed right now for $299, I think that's a bit high but $250-275 would be pretty close--if you can find a taker! I like the d50, d70, d80, d90 better than some of the other bodies, they can still use AF and AF-D lenses in AF, Nikon blew it when they dropped the motor in the bodies of the entry-level cameras.
It might be worth keeping if you're looking to move up, until you buy a third body, then move the d50 to a family memeber or friend with a standard lens.
Note a d50 makes one hell of a backup camera for a newer Nikon and is still a pretty good picture taker.
