I want to buy camera

1) i want to buy camera which one is best canon or nikon. My budget is 50, 000 Ruppes that is (1000dollars)
2)some body has told me pictures are good with nikon but video quality is not good same as some body is told me canon is good… So i'm confused which one should i buy…
3) should i go for sony?

Nikon and Canon are the best cameras. Not much between them really, both are good. I have a Nikon D80 and it takes very good pictures. The colours are very natural with the Nikon. Not so sure about Sony.

I only recommend what I own and therefore know. The Canon 600D fits in your budget. It's Canon's nearly latest offering and is an excellent camera.

For personal use or professional use?

I recommend you two cameras, 1st is Nikon D5100 and 2nd is Canon D600
Both are just great!
And yes! Canon is better at video quality as compared to Nikon! However, both are good cameras and D5100 is about 36000 Rs. So you can buy additional lens with it!
Its cheap but powerful, having the same sensor and processor of Nikon D7000!

And don't go for Sony if your budget is 50000!
