I have no idea what I'm doing?
So this summer I plan to take up longboarding and buy a camera to start photographing landscapes, along with a bit of action photography. I have a decent eye, so I'm willing to pay a good amount of money for a camera. I'm thinking about a Nikon D600, if you think there's a better choice for what I'd like to do, go ahead and let me know. For longboarding I was wondering if anyone could recommend good brands. I would love to start doing downhill.

I would go for a board that looks like http://www.landyachtz.com/D25.cfm?PID=295 this and landyachtz is an awesome brand, so is loaded, and original skate boards are my favorite brands. They usually have downhill boards categorized for ya.
