I have a ZENIT 122 and a Nikon RF 2 and a YASHICA FX-7 which is better?
Well as you see i 've alot of old cameras and i really need to know if they are good cameras or they are out of date and what are their specifications and seriously WHICH OF THEM IS BETTER IN TAKING PICTURES!
By this stage in time the Zenith will be long past its best, which was adequate but never brilliant. Any repairs to the Zenith would be very expensive, since there are now so few technicians left with skills for such cameras. The basic design of all Zeniths goes back to the 1950s or earlier, some later models have a few add-on refinements.
The Nikon brand is considered better than Yashica, but remember that it is the person behind the camera who makes a really good photo. Both those cameras that you have are some years (10 or more?) old.
The Nikon is a toy.
Of the two SLRs, it's easier to find lenses for the Zenit (M42 screw), but the Yashica (Contax/Yashica bayonet) is a far better camera on paper.
Any will do as long as they work flawlessly still. Their lightmeters will be inaccurate at this point. The Zenit may have very limited shutter speeds.
