I can't download photos from my Camera (Nikon) into iPhoto?

I went to a concert last night, ran out of space on my memory card and used my friends in my camera. Both memory cards were exactly the same but now only my memory card will download into iPhoto. I don't know whether that's the problem, or whether I have no space but it just comes up with 'iPhoto can't import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.' every time I try to import.

Try a card reader instead of hooking up your camera.

Did you format your friend's card in your own camera before you used it? Some cameras don't like sharing a different memory card…

Load the pics on to your computer first. Then they might import to your iPhoto from the computer.

So I wonder how many times we'll have to answer the same question with the same answer. You can't put one camera's card into another camera and expect it to work… It simply doesn't work that way.

You might be able to salvage your shots with a card reader but the problem is each camera formats a card in it's unique way. Each camera then can only read a card that it has formatted not a card from another camera.

I agree try a reader it may work it may not.
