How to use a nikon g lens on an f mount body?

I have a nikon g lens (14-24) that I have adapted to canon ef for filming but would also like to use it on my nikon f3 but doing so will result in an unusable stop of 22 because of the internal aperture. Is there any adapter or way of locking it on a stop before attaching?

I can't answer that specifically.

Only the Nikon F5 and F6 cameras can use Nikkor lenses that do not have aperture rings on them ("G" type) Those cameras have a dial on the camera that can select the lens aperture electronically.

I see of no way that you can adjust the lens aperture other than electronically which puts your Nikon F3 on the sidelines photographically speaking when it comes to the 14-24 mm f/2.8 lens

Nikon "G" lenses are actually F mount lenses, just that G lenses do not have an aperture ring. So, as fhotoace has said, some cameras like the F5, F6, etc will work with the G lens just fine.

The F3 won't fully work with the G lenses as you said it will stay at f22 and you can't change that. If you're looking for an good expensive film body to work with G lenses, look at the N80/F80. Of course an F5 would be fantastic if you can spring for a little more.
