How to convert image size without losing its metadata?
I use right click image converter to convert images, it does great but i loose the Metadata of the image when gets converted, So can anyone tell me if there's any software that converts the image without loosing the metadata, I'm a photographer and i use Nikon camera, all photos have default metadata and i don't want to loose them by converting them, to lower the size.
The below photo is before conversion and above photo is after conversion.
First, look at the options when saving the reduced size image with your current software - some have an option to save/remove meta data. Make sure you select "save".
Alternatively try GIMP. A VERY good free image manipulation program that definitely saves the meta data.
For one thing do not EVER alter the original. Save edits as edits.
Try Irfanview. It's free.
Thank you so much Briar, John and Keerok for the answers. I needed a software that can directly convert images without losing its Metadata as the software right click image converter (losses metadata), but converts fast in bulk.
