How to adjust the self timer settings on a canon rebel xsi?
My mom got a nikon d3300 for her birthday so she gave me the canon. I'm still pretty unfamiliar with it and haven't been able to locate the manual. I have a button where I can choose the shooting settings (single shot, continuous, self timer, etc) and on the continuous self timer option it has a box where you select how many seconds you want it to be before the camera shoots. However, I haven't found a way to adjust the time between each shot or the number of shots I want it to take.
Download the manual from the Canon website.
Yup, Avdaddy has it… Download the manual. It'll come in pdf form.
Download your manual from Canon.

See page 53. See page 63 for continuous shooting.
Adjusting the time between shots is done with an intervalometer, not a feature of your camera.
I have one of those. The XSi is annoyingly inconsistent in its interface.
Use the up down keys. If that doesn't work repeat using the scroll wheel. If that doesn't work press "set" first and try keys and scroll wheel again. Press set when done.
That works pretty well for most variables on the XSi
