How is this camera, for amateur photography?
I have a Nikon D-3000.
What's your opinions on it?
Hers some of the many i've taken with it.
It is an entry-level DSLR. It's ideal for amateur photography, especially with the built-in guide mode.
Have you tried taking your camera off of the auto mode? It's surprisingly easy to shoot in manual mode if you use the built-in light meter to help you set your aperture and shutter speed. The camera doesn't always choose the best settings for a shot, so you can often get better-exposed pictures if you pick them yourself.
