How good is a Nikon 3100?

Is a Nikon 3100 a good camera? If you can compare it to a Canon Camera is it atleast as good as a Cannon t3 or t2? All info is welcomed.

Yes, the D3100 is a good camera. The T3, T2i & T3i are no better & no worse than the D3100.

I personally like Nikon d7000's better.

The D3100 like any other camera, can only be as good as its user.
