Good professional cameras?
I'm on a budget here ( 270$ish) i want a good professional camera. I was looking into Nikon L120?
is that any good?
Not even close! The cheapest pro level camera will set you back $2, 500 just for the body.
The Nikon L120 is a low end bridge camera, just a step above a point & shoot. It's ok for everyday pics of family & friends. It's not for a serious photographer. At least look at a P90.
That's true. 10-times your budget and you might get close to "professional" cameras. They don't exist at your price.
The camera you name is a bridge camera - not even close to even a consumer level dslr camera.
They begin at $500 and go up.
Do You have any Idea on How Much A Professional Camera actually Cost? It's Physically Impossible to get a Professional for $270.
Try spending in the Thousands of Dollars starting around $5000 and up. In so many cases people tend to use their DSLR exactly like a Point And Shoot Camera and just don't have the fundamentals on how to use a DSLR to begin with. In Your Case You're far better off getting a Point and Shoot Camera and then work yourself up to a DSLR after learning the Fundamentals of the Cameras.
Definitely look into buying the Fuji S2950. Has same features as S1800 only the price is only $178.15+shipping at Amazon.com. Has lots of zoom, aperture/shutter priority and even a viewfinder.
Nikon Coolpix L120 is an amazing camera. I wasn't sure I was buying the right camera for what I wanted to do but this is just exactly what I wanted. It's amazingly easy to use, takes GREAT pictures, and the video feature is the best. I love how easy it is to record video with this camera. And the mic picks up sound easily. The only thing I would add to this camera is a volume control to boost up the sound when taking video. My husband likes the 20X zoom feature. Brings everything right to you. I would totally recommend this camera to anyone thinking of upgrading their point and shoot. This camera is well worth the price
