Which nikon camera model is better?
Nikon D3000

It is a toss up between the D700 and D7000. The D700 is a professional grade camera, and while it is showing it's age a bit, it still has pro features none of the other cameras on your list have. And it is a full frame camera.

The rest of the cameras on your list are crop DX cameras, and for that I like the D7000.

Better is a subjective term

The newest of the APS-C cameras are the D3100, D5100, D7000 and D300s

The only full frame listed is the D700

If you intend on using the older AF Nikkor lenses, you will need to buy one of the more advanced cameras like the listed D7000, D300s and D700 cameras.
