What is you opinion on the nikon D7000?

I want a nikon camera but can afford the nikon d3 so i heard the d7000 camera was cheaper and was just as good. I'm getting into proffesional photography in school/collage/university so need a camera to start off with and maybe start a business with it so it has to be good. Also what lenses do you recommend for the nikon d7000 to take wildlife photography as that is what i want to do wildlife photography. If you don't recommend the nikon d7000 for wildlife photography what camera do you recommend? And please list the lenses i need.

For me If you're not buy the nikon d7000. I recommend the canon eos 5d mark III or mark II because Sensor is Full-frame 35 mm and the lense I recommend for telephoto zoom EF 70-200mm f2.8, EF 70-200mm f4.0 and Extender EF 1.4x and 2x

Yes, the 7000 is a great camera.
BUT, remember, lenses are more important than the camera body. For now, just get the 18-105 kit lens.
A 300 f4 AF or AF-S would be a great lens for wildlife photography
