Is Nikon d7000 UK/EU version the same as Nikon d7000 USA?
Hi! I'm looking to buy a Nikon d7000, and after looking around i found that USA version is about £200 cheaper than UK/EU version, If there are any differences please point them out to me, thanks! - Pranav
I have the USA version and as far as I know they are the same. Usually the only difference is that they brand and advertise it slightly differently.
They are the same, however, if you are in the UK and buy from America, bear in mind the following;
- the warranty may not be valid in the UK (unless its a worldwide warranty)
- as well as shipping costs, when it comes into the UK you will have to pay VAT and customs (import duty) on it, which will pretty much negate the £200 saving.
Two:
1.different plug on the charger
2. NO warranty from Nikon europe.
Of course they are the same because there's only one manufacturer of Nikon. That's normal it depend upon what country they are selling the item. What matters also is how they promote the product, what kind of market strategy they are using. Example if the US spend so much for their advertising then they will probably increase the price to generate profit.
I have not seen the EU/UK version but here's what I think.
The plug is different, EU/UK may have multiple plugs options. The user's manual may have difference languages too making it a little expensive.
