Underwater housing for Nikon d700?

I'll be at the Great Barrier Reef this summer, and as a photographer, there's no way I can resist taking photos there. What kind of underwater housing should I get? How does it work? I have no experience with any form of underwater DSLR photography before.

I hope you have plenty of dough to spend. A housing for your body will cost $1, 500, then you'll need an additional one for a lens. Consider buying a compact P&S, such as the Coolpix AW100.
