Nikon D300s problem with turning it on and off?
I have a D300s, the problem is it won't switch on and i've tried with 4 different battery and lastly with a brand new battery still won't switch on. Sometime the camera simply turn on but normally it simply won't turn on and the newest problem with it is when i tried putting the camera battery in and out few times, it work the camera turn on but saying the lens and memory card are error. But after few hours being turn off the camera simply work but only for few hours than it turn off again.
Your camera is under warranty I hope.
Call Nikon's service center. 800. NIKON-SV
Your problem is unique. I have never heard of such a problems.
You seem to have done a lot of trouble shooting before contacting Nikon Do that and see what they say
Try it without a memory card. If it warns you about the missing card but stays on then try with another memory card.
Try removing the lens also. Clean the electronic contact points at the lens mount then reattach. Make sure the lens fits all the way and clicks in.
If nothing works, contact the store you bought it from or bring it directly to an authorized Nikon service center.
Lol Nikon build quality my ***! Next time get Canon.
You sure you charged the batteries, a brand new battery won't guarantee that it is fully charged.
If you have checked that the batteries are fully charged, format your memory card using a PC. Then try again.
If everything fails, call the service center.
