Need help on nikon cameras

For nikon cameras, can you put the same lens on all different DSLR cameras? Like i have a 70-300mm lens. Can I put that same lens on a nikno D300, D3100 or D90?
If so, does that mean that the same 2x teleconverters can be used for any nikon DSLR?

The 70-300mm will fit on Nikon's entire dslr range.
EXCLUSIONS:
You may run into problems if the lens is a older F mount type like some AI or AF lenses… You will lose the autofocus feature. But the lens should still operate as normal (expect for autofocus)

TELECONVERTERS:
Teleconverters are not compatable with all lens. Teleconverter are designed for their high end lenses like the 70-200mm or their tele primes like 300mm or 400mm primes.
It is not compatable with the 70-300mm
