Lightroom 3.6 tethering issue?

I have Lightroom 3.6 64-bit on my Windows 7 laptop. I tried tethering my Nikon D3 but Lightroom can't recognize it. However my computer will recognize my Nikon D3 when connected via USB for file transferring.Am I doing something wrong? It worked just fine with my Nikon D300 or D90.

That's because your D300 and your D90 had firmware that allowed tethering. Apparently your D3 does not.
