Is this camera (Nikon D100) any good?
I know is a kinda old SLR camera I'm not a camera expert I'm just an beginner amateur photograpfer

I can tell you want to buy this just for the sake of having a DSLR… I think its safe to say many point and shoot cameras (such as powershots or coolpix's) offer better image quality than this camera, so get one of those and pass on the D100.
