Basically what happened was i bought a tamron 70-300 lens for canon. I have a nikon d200 with the focus motor. So everything is compatible. What type of converter should i get. And if there's a chance of me even using this lens with a nikon.kind of stuck and don't know what to do next

I will not work.
Take or send the lens back and get the correct lens
There are NO Canon lens to Nikon camera adapters
