How to turn on high speed sync on Nikon D300s and SB700?

Does the D300s has high speed sync, if so, how do I turn it on? I fumble through the whole instruction manual and couldn't find it…

Look on page 282 for flash control beyond 1/250th seconds.

Look up "Auto FP Sync" in your manual. On the D90, there's a menu selection to turn that function on and off. It should be similar on the D300s.

The setup is done in-camera rather than the flash.
