Cheap 3rd party lens are half the cost in price for a reason.(Hint… THEY ARE RUBBISH) No doubt some cheapskate will disagree. Fitting a cheap and nasty lens to a DSLR camera is like buying a Ferrari and running it on paraffin because it is a bit cheaper.
Yes it will fit but you will wish you had spent more cash and bought a Nikon lens.
I'm not being a "Gear snob" I'm just letting you know that you are not doing your DSLR camera justice fitting this pile of steaming dog poo to your camera.

Yes it will fit - in regards to another answer - nothing wrong with 3rd party lenses - some better than others ofcourse, For example tokina lenses are supurb (some not all), have a look at www.kenrockwell.com - he has a lot of info on many nikon fit lenses and compares them to the nikkor lenses… And to the "cheapskates" commmenter - get a grip - we'd all love to have nikon d3's with £5000 glass on it, just like we'd all like a ferarri but we end up with a VW
