Film Camera Won't Release Film?
Pony Princess
I just took pictures with my '35mm Nikon Film camera. I didn't know if I had 24 film or 36 exposure film in, but it let me take pictures to 36. Now, when I try to press the film release button, it will not release. It won't push down at all.

C*ck the film advance lever then try again.
If you're not getting anywhere, go and have the film developed at some film lab. Ask the guys there to unload the film for you. If they can't get the camera to rewind, they can at least get the film roll in a black bag.

Rewind the film.
