Fastest Nikon or Canon DSLR?
Hi! Which dslrs have continuous shutter speeds of 5 fps or faster that is not more than $1000?
Buy the Phantom v1610 is very fast according to the news!
Silly answers. He is asking for frames-per-second for continuous shutter as in photos, not video…
The Nikon D7000 ($1, 199) and Canon 60D ($999) are the least expensive cameras to provide 5fps continuous or better (6fps for the D7000). However, even though the Nikon is a couple of hundred dollars more, it is superior in all other regards, so don't narrow your focus to just one specification - especially one not likely to be used a lot.

--6 fps (7D is 8. However, I think this number is overhyped in most cases. Even shooting at 3 FPS will fill up you card with photos that look remarkably similar) 8+ is needed for professionals shooting professional sports. Not enthusiast shooting High School etc.
--16mp sensor (a marketing increase but still nice to allow some room for cropping)
--39 point auto focus sensors (19 cross point) this is a bit of a marketing thing but it is still nice and it does not matter about the 51 on D300s and above. Still very nice.
