Would this 52mm fit my Nikon D3100 18-55mm?

I bought a Nikon D3100 18-55MM. I wanted to know if a wide angle lens of 52MM would fit my camera? I had bought a fish eye lens not to long ago and it didn't fit.

To be honest, you have the equivalent of a 28mm lens. Nine times out of ten, if you need something wider than that, you're doing something wrong.
